110-year-old, internationally recognized Hungarian vinyl and wood floor manufacturer, Graboplast Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Architectural Sales Representative in Romania.
Working with the Sales Director Global and the Area Sales Manager CEE, the successful candidate will increase sales and profit by developing relationships primarily with architects, designers, contractors and specifiers, and other influencers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position establishes strong relationships with the Architectural and Design communities and services this group, therefore the Architectural Sales Representative proactively develops relationships with architects, interior designers, spec writers, owners, construction managers and general contractors to increase preference and demand for Graboplast products and systems. Extensive networking within the industry is essential.
Actively tracks projects in the early design stages to influence the specification.
Communicate project opportunities to the Area Sales Manager.
Working in coordination with architects, general contractors, building managers and/or owners in the pre-bidding process of interior design projects, the Architectural Sales Representative applies extensive product, technical, and application expertise to promote Graboplast’s flooring products by creating quoting and bidding packages.
Maintains strong familiarity of Graboplast products by attending company training classes, and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods
Monitors competitive activity and strategically promotes Graboplast’s offering.
Proven ability to identify key decision makers and build relationships.
An adept networker.
Strong presentation and professional selling skills.
A self-starter with very strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Minimum High School Diploma or GCSE with 5+ years’ experience in an architectural sales role OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design with 3+ years’ experience
Computer proficiency required in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Other industry related computer skills (CAD, REVIT, Sketch Up, Presentation software, etc.) are a plus
Ability to travel countrywide up to 70% of the time.
