Our client is one of the leading multinational transport companies, with branches all over the country (services: sea freight, air freight, trucking and logistic services).
In order to further develop the fast growing organization we are looking for an experienced candidate to join the company¿¿¿ dynamic team as a Branch Manager for Timisoara office.
Main functions and duties:
¿¿¿ Lead the branch office in Timisoara;
¿¿¿ Commercial activities ¿¿¿ business development;
¿¿¿ Personnel leadership and planning for the branch located in Timisoara;
¿¿¿ Monitor working discipline and assess the work and the results of the employees;
¿¿¿ Maintain agents relationships according to company policy;
¿¿¿ Maintain the relationship with key clients in the area assigned ¿¿¿ visit the key accounts regularly;
¿¿¿ Prepare the budget and monitor the budget lines;
¿¿¿ Monitor progress of claims;
¿¿¿ Verify the purchasing activity of the office;
¿¿¿ Cooperate with headoffice and with other Romanian branches;
¿¿¿ Monitor the profitability and efficiency processes;
¿¿¿ Report to the General Manager of the company;
¿¿¿ Set and achieve the company targets;
¿¿¿ Develop the existing and implement new products and traffic lanes;
¿¿¿ Responsible for costs and revenues of the branch office;
1. Experience on a similar position is considered a plus;
2. Minimum 5 years experience in managing logistics, transportation and warehousing activities;
3. Very good knowledge of sea/air/road freight transportation procedures;
4. Negotiation, management and leadership skills;
5. Business development abilities;
6. Very good communication and analytical skills;
7. Fluent English ; German is considered a plus;
8. Previous experience in an international transportation company is very desirable.
