Plant Financial Controller - Orastie (Hunedoara county)

RESPONSABILITATI

JOB CHARACTERISTICS
- To support the financial and accounting affairs of the plant & act as member of the management team.
- The Plant Controller works with and supports the manager of the finance and accounting function of the plant. He needs to ensure that the financial processes function efficiently and reliable.
- He is responsible within the function for the relations between the finance department and Sector/BU centre.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Support management accounting activities (cost & variance analysis, monthly performance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management and decision support) for the plant.
- Support the financial monitoring of the plant and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Execute the business planning process, which includes setting up budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly performance reviews.
- Verify that the appropriate information systems are in place for management & financial accounting purposes.
- Verify that proper Business and financial controls are maintained in the plant and that the organization adheres to it.
- Takes responsibility for project control (e.g. product-development, equipment creation and others).
