Tasks:
Our candidates must have the capacity for the realization of released Programming Requests, the implementation and roll out of new functionalities and the required support is not sufficient and won’t be sufficient considering the upcoming activities. Programmer is needed to enable the SAP Competence Centre to provide solutions for Data Archiving, interface eBOM, set up interface structure for roll out of Traceability and other projects. The new programmer will be a part of the Global Centre at Sibiu.
The main responsibilities will be:
► Responsibility for writing new and modifying existing ABAP reports;
► Define and code conversions and interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, BDC, and transaction updates. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, performance tuning, writing technical specifications and functional design specifications;
► Work with the ABAP workbench within SAP R/3, including SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, QM, WM, HR and also interfacing to various external software packages and systems, will be included also work with BI, Portals, and Solution Manager.
Skills:
♦ Study of Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration;
♦ Minimum 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience as an ABAP Developer;
♦ Good knowledge of at least one logistic module (MM, PP, SD);
♦ Base knowledge of SAP FI/CO module and processes;
♦ Experience in SAP version 4.6 or higher;
♦ Experience with IT Helpdesk Processes;
♦ Demonstrated knowledge of good programming techniques, dictionary objects, and interface techniques;
♦ Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who also possess any of the following: object oriented programming, experience in New Dimension (BI, Portals, Solution Manager) Web development: WAS/BSP, Web Dynpro, JavaScript Unicode experience;
♦ Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English language;
♦ Preferred consideration will be given to candidates with advanced knowledge of German language;
♦ Willingness to travel.
