• Provides telemarketing services in an outbound capacity on behalf of the Internal Colt clients via email and telephone communication tools to cultivate leads from existing, dormant and new customer listings within defined marketing campaigns and activities
• Provides Telemarketing operational support;Database management, tools and process support.
• To provide customer service and information provision in compliance with the group’s Quality system and procedures set by the client.
Key Accountabilities:
• Contact businesses or individuals by telephone in order to market sales for goods or services.
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
• Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter details into the system.
• Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
• Obtain names and telephone numbers of contact persons of potential customers.
• Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.
• Telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial contacts.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
• Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
• Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
• Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service.
Role Requirements:
• Experience in Telemarketing, preferably in the B2B environment
• Experience of marketing and sales to SMB/SME sectors via direct and indirect channels working within the IT or telecoms
industry
• Experience of working and managing cross-functional projects
• Excellent corporate/commercial understanding of business and financial issues
• Demonstrable understanding of key business drivers for partners, resellers, fixed telecoms operators, and SME customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is creative, has imagination and inventiveness to generate new ideas and implement these to the benefit of the business
• Is an analytical and strategic thinker
• Establishes credibility with Customers and COLT employees
• Good competence in MS Office; Excel
• Sound technical knowledge of, ideally, voice data and managed services
• Technical or Business related Degree
• Excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling as well as a business conversational knowledge of at least one other language : Italian, French, German or Spanish
