Centralized sourcing, qualification, introduction and release of mechanical components according PLC and APQP including hand-over to the plant with focus on suppliers, development locations and plants
Functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, categories and suppliers.
Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services ( Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch
Concept, Quality Control Plan etc. to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements
Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services, in his area of responsibility, to continuously observethe quality performance of the supplier.
Work in international and multi disciplinary teams including e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Advanced Purchasing, BU and local SQM Departments, Customer Qulity, Logistics, Category SQM and Purchasing Departments ( incl. pro-active cooperation with BU SQM and plant SQM MM)
Technical background - University of Mechanics, Electromechanical or relevant
Experience with Automotive Quality standards
Fluent in English - both spoken and written
Dynamic person - willing to travel
Good communication skills
Driver License would be a plus
