Documentation, planning, design, implementation, support, maintenance, monitoring and capacity planning of all aspects of an enterprise Microsoft-based and Linux environment
Database Administration ( Oracle Knowledge (11g, 12c), Oracle RAC, Optimization and Performance tuning)
Personal accountability for project timelines and milestones
Investigate and document new technologies, tools and methodologies to improve system stability and reliability
Define policies and procedures in the areas of Disaster Recovery, Enterprise Backups, Systems
Management, Monitoring and Systems Administration/Security, Build Standards, and Server Build Automation
Participation in on-call rotation. Some nights and weekend work will be required
Technical University Degree in Computers Science ( or relevant)
5+ years of hands-o systems administration, support, and operational experience including: Windows and Linux server/application performance trending and health monitoring
Solid understanding of security as it applies to Microsoft and Linux technologies
Experience deployinh and operating VMware infrastructure
Experience as Oracle DBA
Commitment to continuing education to strengthen skills and broaden expertise
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while staying a team player
Sel-starter able to work with minimal supervision
Fluency in English
