VAT SPECIALIST WITH ROMANIAN LANGUAGE
Main responsibilities:
Providing proactive advice and support;
Identifying and solving issues related to VAT;
Identifying and implementing VAT savings and efficiency opportunities;
Monitoring for changes in VAT legislation and implementation;
Working on projects and in diverse teams to improve, enhance and standardise VAT processes through systems and process improvements;
Being involved with and managing (as appropriate) external VAT audits and to liaise with, and provide required information;
Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing, Audits, Corporate Tax, VAT etc.
The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:
University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area;
2+ years experience of providing technical VAT advisory;
Professional qualification in VAT;
Fluent English and Romanian speaker;
Strong numeric and computer skills, including ability to use Excel, Word and Powerpoint effectively;
Attention to detail, analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skills;
Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines;
Ablility to develop strong working relationships and work well in diverse teams.
