The primary objectives of the Infrastructure Security Consultant role are to design and partly deliver Security services to both internal and external clients. The services include Security Information and Event Management, Identity & Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, Antivirus and Firewall solutions, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in design and deployment of various Security services for internal and external clients
• Perform Security reviews of designs and implementations as required
• Work on improvements for provided security services including developing new tools for automation
• Participate on various security related tasks for Workstation, Server and Network security
• Review and define requirements for information security solutions
• Limited travel possible but not regarded as a mobile role.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years working experience within Security, Networking or Server administration area
• Working knowledge of Security principles, techniques and technologies
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, design and operations
• Knowledge of Windows 2008, Red Hat Linux, Active Directory
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Capability to Learn Scripting (Python), Regular Expressions (Regex)
• Exposure to Symantec Products
• Willingness to learn
• Advanced English (written and oral)
Nice to have skills:
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, MCSE or other information security or IT platform certifications
• Experience with various security tools and products (ArcSight, Symantec Data Loss Prevention, Symantec EndPoint Protection, Symantec Vontu, Oracle Identity Management, etc.)
• Vulnerability analysis or penetration testing experience
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Working knowledge of networking related products (IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Routers)
• Basic application development and programming skills - Perl, PHP, C, Java or similar
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies - Windows, MS SQL, Exchange
