Great opportunity for IT specialits to work for European commission in Brussels.
The candidate will comply to the core hours rules of the commission.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the DG-INFSO Procurement Workflow
System. This covers the following tasks:
* Analysis of the requirements with the users.
* Development of new modules and/or reengineering of the application to reflect the
specifications based on Java technologies following the SOA principles.
* Integration of the application/module with other systems at DG INFSO
* Elaboration of test programs and test plans for the testing team
* Write the technical documentation
* Assist the release management with deployment and configuration of the system
* Assist the test team management with evaluation and testing of the system
* Participate in meetings with the Commission.
* Contribute to the 3rd level user support for the systems.
Environment:
Information systems based on BEA Weblogic, Java 1.6, Oracle 10 database servers.
R3 web-based development environment is based on Eclipse, Toad, RTC
The contractor must have:
* Solid & Proven experience with J2EE, EJB3, Hibernate and SOA
* Solid & Proven experience of SQL and Oracle, including PL/SQL;
* Proven experience of XML and XSD and WSDL
* Proven experience with Unit Testing and Testing Frameworks
* experience with MAVEN2 or ANT;
* Comprehension of UML2 diagrams
* Fluency (written and oral) in English
