Description
We are looking for a skilled High Voltage (130kv) Linesman to work on the installation of power lines a rail system in Sweden.
The type of Linesman we are looking should be knowledgeable in working at heights and towers to install transmission lines. This position ensures the efficient, on time, safe installation of various power lines. Also working at various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable with great attention to detail in completing their duties.
The responsibilities for the Linesman would be as follows:
Digging trenches to install underground lines,
Installing meter
Climbing poles to repair overhead lines
Inspecting power lines for installation, repair or replacement.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills are crucial to be successful as a Lineman.
Capable of working both independently and in teams, as some large jobs are usually accomplished by working with other Linemen.
Knowledge of electrical and building codes
Time management skills
Restoring lost power
Installing various types of power cables and wires.
Making repairs to damaged power lines.
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
Working outdoors in various types of weather.
The requirements for the Cladder would be as follows:
5 years experience minimum as a Linesman
High voltage (130kv) certificate
Experience with working on rail systems
Experience with Commercial and Industrial projects
Work at heights (On ladders, scaffolding and machines)
High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
Knowledge of general construction methods and practices
Mechanically inclined, familiarity with hand tools and construction equipment.
