• Successful test automation development & maintenance (design & execution) for web application & web services. Any experience to mobile testing would be beneficial.
• Good understanding of requirements & functional specifications and creating manual & automation test scripts from requirements.
• Working with complex global E-commerce systems.
• Creating & understanding the test plans.
• Identify and document defects during test execution by using defect management tool.
• Understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
• Ability to analyse and apply a pragmatic and context driven approach to any testing.
• Participate & mentor junior members of the team during the sprint throughout the different stages of software test cycle.
• Participate and support business stakeholders during user acceptance testing.
• 2-year experience working as senior test engineer.
• 3 years’ minimum experience in Web Automation utilising existing market tools. Ideally Selenium Web-driver.
• Experience of building test automation framework from scratch and maintain the framework.
• Proficient in C# to be used as development language to write test scripts
• Experience with BDD tech such as Specflow and Gherkin
• Experience of API automation testing with experience of API automation tools such as Soap UI
• Experience working in a TDD Agile driven environment Scrum being the main methodology adopted
• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience in creating and executing test automation on responsive web platforms. Any desktop & mobile platforms would be beneficial.
• Experience in API testing.
• Technology stack: Predominately Microsoft (VB. NET, with newer development done in C#) on SQL Server
• Experience of working with the following technologies would be advantageous: Linux, C/C++, Java, Apache, MySQL
