SUMMARY
The TS&FE Center (Technical Support & Fulfillment Engineering Center) is the technical interface for telecom operators and their customers, it ensures that our customers' networks and services operate at optimal levels, while maintaining and improving standards and integrity of the network provided.
TS&FE Engineers use their expertise and knowledge of business processes, systems to ensure the availability of the customer`s telecom service.
Core engineer is responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to: integration, configuration, re-parenting, preventive maintenance. It assists the field staff for the integration / configuration of the site, knowledge of technology PDH/ SDH / IP would be an advantage.
The engineer ensures ongoing best practices are applied as well as the latest client instructions. Teams capitalize on past experiences by sharing them internally. Moreover it is the main contact with people "FrontOffice" in the case escalation is necessary and "reporting".
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Diploma related to telecommunications, electronics, computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of several mobile core network elements (MSC-S, HLR, MGW, STP, FNR & HLR-V, MSC) multi vendors (Ericsson, NSN mainly).
- Knowledge in network fault/performance/configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of mobile signalling protocols (ISUP, MAP, INAP, etc.).
- Spirit rigorous in the transactions, particularly in following technical instructions and "reporting".
- Willingness to work in "Business Hours" & "Non Business Hours" exceptionally.
- Written & oral communication abilities as part of "Hotline" technique. French and English are mandatory (at least medium level / A2 in the European frame)
- Control of quality of communication during a crisis situation (stay focused on the objective information & communicate in real time).
- Ability to work in teams, learn and support of people, know their own limits on technical skills.
- Critical thinking in order to suggest improvements for better conduct of the operation (time / quality).
- Understanding the general principles of networks and telecommunications principles.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new operation.
