This position is a part of a highly experienced international Database Operations Team, which provides day to day support to business.
Your responsibilities as a Database will be:
- running queries on databases to provide counts/reports to business users;
- modify data based on business requirements provided by the user;
- actively communicating with Project Managers, Sales managers, Survey Programming and other teams from our international offices;
- protect the panel according to our Panel Guildelines;
- monitor, optimize and troubleshoot the database servers and perform basic database administration tasks;
- establish optimized methods of transferring data between various database management systems;
- participate in creating database objects such as table, views, stored procedures, and triggers along with the designing of the basic structure of the database;
- provide technical support in resolving performance issues, optimizing queries.
- university degree, preferably with technical background;
- strong SQL, MS SQL Server knowledge. Ability to write complex queries and experience in updating data structures;
- knowledge to evaluate and optimize queries, sugget index required is desired;
- MS Reporting Services is not required but a plus
- good verbal and written communication skills in english
- proficient with MS-Office ( Microsoft Word and Excel )
