Overall description of the job
* Responsible for Controlling & Reporting;
* Manages a small team (2-3 people) directly & cooperates with the General Manager for managing the full team (24 persons);
* Improves employee relations in the office;
* Ensures timely preparation of all required financial reports in order to meet all legal, local and parent company reporting requirements;
* Responsible for thorough analysis of each P&L, Balance sheet, and cash flow statement;
* Coordinates the company financial planning and budget management functions;
* Ensures compliance with local regulations and group policies;
* Implements ongoing systematic improvements in processes and procedures to maximize the efficiency and to eliminate/decrease the risks;
* Manages the credit limits for the customers in cooperation with the GM and the sales team;
* Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis;
* Manages and fosters the Company's relationship with third parties, such as external auditors, banks, lawyers & tax authorities.
Required Qualifications, experience and education
* Higher education in finance/economics field;
* CECCAR authorisation;
* At least 7 years of experience in a financial controlling / financial management role;
* Strong knowledge of International and Romanian accounting standards;
* Solid understanding of Romanian taxes;
* Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills;
* Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people;
* Ability to work across various functional areas and to interact with individuals across all levels throughout the organization;
* Good knowledge of English (written and oral).
