This position assists Global Toluna employees with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technologies. Support includes installation, maintenance and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment.
To ensure that all the tickets assigned by IT Support Center are resolved within SLA.
In more detail, your responsibilities will be to:
Responsible for local administration and support of Windows workstations in Toluna Domains;
Configure and support various commercial software like MS Office, SQL Client etc. ;
Maintain IT inventory and update inventory list accordingly;
To handle all the tickets assigned by IT Support Center in timely manner;
To conduct a quarterly desktop audit to ensure that desktop PCs are configured as per Toluna IT Policies;
Coordinate with external vendors for various purchases, support issues.
Degree in Computer Science or IT related field;
1 - 2 years relevant experience;
Fluency in spoken as well as written English language;
Knowledge of French, German language is a plus;
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office products;
Recent and relevant experience on desktop troubleshooting;
Basic network troubleshooting including TCP/IP utilities;
Experience with remote OS deployment;
Customer focused;
Effective face to face communicator;
Certification
Preferably MCP Windows 7.
