We are seeking a skilled technician or engineer to provide online support for our customers and to help us improve our products. The customers you'll interact with are often networking engineers working on global companies, so you’ll need to get up to speed with our network monitoring and DDoS mitigation solutions.
Primary job responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to customers by responding to emails and web-based inquiries
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and develop solutions to customer issues
• Be on-call and perform night or weekend shifts on a rotational schedule
• Applicants must be proficient in English (especially written) since all interactions will be with English speaking clients
• 2+ years of system administration or technical support experience working with multiple Linux distributions, with good troubleshooting skills
• Applicants must have a very good understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP and OSI stack, DNS, Switching & Routing, IPv4, IPv6 etc.).
Optional requirements :
• Networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, or Security certifications such as CISSP or CEH.
• Previous work in a technical department (NOC) is considered an advantage.
• Programming or scripting skills of any kind is considered an advantage.
