-Responsible for defining tools standard for Mahle Engine Components Timisoara
-Identifies and qualifies new potential suppliers for molds
-Actively involved in design review for new projects
-Performs supplier selection based on benchmark activities
-Validates the tool design with suppliers
-Validates with suppliers the time plan for tools making according with project requirements
-Initiates and follows up tracking tool report for tools making
-Performs pre validation process for new molding tools at the suppliers site
-Responsible for the acceptance of tool transfer to Timisoara
-Is part of tools validation process in Timisoara
-Responsible to initiate deviation request for dimension out of tolerance and get approval from design
- Validates/ initiates mold tool modification in order to obtain parts according with drawings requirements
- Validates cost of modification and identifies posibilities of cost reduction
- Actively part of continous improvement team on molding area
-Contact person for tool management for internal and external customers
-University Degree
-At least two years experience in molding tool design
-Previous experience in automotive field is a plus
-Very good command of English. German is a plus
-Very good technical drawing knowledge
-Very good knowledge of machining steel
-Good knowledge of plastic injection process
-CAD software, Plastic injection simulation software, preferably Mouldflow
