To complete our team, based in Timisoara and support our growth in Europe, we are looking for a Panel Buyer in OSS department (Outside Sample).
The Panel Buyer’s goal is to take over the full responsibility for all aspects of outside supply vendors utilized to complete surveys the Toluna Panel cannot complete.
The Panel Buyer shall serve as a broker for:
- the operations team, specifically for jobs that are in field, assisting the team to get jobs done, on time with quality completes.
- for the sales team, assisting the team to sell more completes at a reasonable profit. In essence allowing the sales person to get to the “yes” more often.
Your main tasks will be to:
Create Purchase Orders for any/ all jobs needing outside vendors;
Maintain all reports necessary to track expenses;
Provide guidance to Sales and CS Department on outside vendor solutions;
Negotiate the best prices possible.
Find new vendors and maintain existing vendor satisfaction.
Ensure all sample channels have been deployed and that there are no other options for getting job completes.
Serve as a gate keeper ensuring that OSS is the last resort to get a job done.
Solve jobs in field, communicate with vendors as deemed necessary to ensure appropriate sample to complete projects on time.
Negotiate pricing to meet all standard requirements.
1+ years in online marketing research industry is a big plus;
Experience in a fast growing, fast paced company;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in pressure situations;
Ability to think strategically, but drive tactical execution: ability to translate ambiguity into clear ideas/ plans;
Ability to troubleshoot complex projects quickly.
