What jobs do we have available?
Along with other challenging positions we are also looking for a QA Team Lead for the Romania office.
The Quality Assurance Lead will work within our established agile process to assist in the development and productivity of all QA team members working in the Timisoara office. She/he will report to the QA Manager in the United States and assist in facilitating the successful implementation of the company’s quality objectives.
It is expected that in addition to management responsibilities, this person will work within a team and complete regular quality assurance tasks.
What responsibilities would you have?
Lead the QA team by providing an impeccable example of hard work, dedication and professionalism.
Assist in recruiting and hiring new team members.
Train team members in the tools, techniques and processes used at Waterford and ensure they have the skills and support needed to be successful.
Monitor the development of each team member and provide regular feedback.
Work closely with the QA Manager to ensure that the company’s quality objectives and programs are implemented and followed.
Develop and execute test cases for new features and products.
Design, create, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java).
Design, create, execute and maintain load and performance tests using Jmeter.
Do you have the required skills and knowledge described below?
Passion for delivering high quality software.
4 years experience working in software quality assurance.
2 years experience working in an agile environment.
Excellent leadership and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of the software development lifecycle and a track record of delivering high quality software products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English.
Experience developing automated test cases in an integrated build environment using Selenium or an equivalent tool.
Experience with load and performance testing.
Understanding of quality metrics and how they are used as decision-making tools.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
Previous management experience.
Experience with the following tools: Maven, Subversion, Eclipse, Selenium, Junit, Jmeter, and Jira.
Experience testing products delivered via the Web.
Java programming skills
