Our client has a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and experienced System Architect to join their Cloud Business Intelligence (BI) project, creating the core platform for business future (BI) offering to the market.
As a System Architect you will be responsible for design and implementation of their new SaaS based BI product.
In your work you will need to focus on architecture, usability, performance, and stability. Their product will have many integrations and dependencies, so having experience with integration techniques and knowledge about how to achieve high performance and reliability is important.
The team is divided between Norway and Romania, working language is English and their development methodology is Scrum. Developers work in small teams on a project basis in close contact with the other development teams, resellers and customers across the international market place.
Responsibilities and work tasks:
Definition of technical goals and roadmaps.
Modelling and architectural analysis and design.
Participate in architecture-, design- and code- reviews.
Writing system requirement specifications.
Implementation and testing of solutions.
Training and technical lead of younger developers
Keeping up-to-date on new technologies, methods and tools related to the development processes.
Advising system developers in the process of: -analyzing requirements, -writing system specifications, and -implementing quality code and unit tests.
We believe that you have:
Master’s degree in computer science
Minimum 5 years of experience as developer or system architect demonstrating technical leadership
Interest in software engineering methods, design patterns and modelling.
Genuinely interested in technology with focus on open standards, systems integration, SaaS architectures, Web services/SOA
Knowledge of C# and the Microsoft web stack is a requirement, the same is knowledge about NoSQL databases and modern web technology
Experience with business systems can be an advantage
