Adecco Professional Placement is looking for its prestigious client, Damen Shipyards Galati, for a Head of Maintenance Facility.
JOB PROFILE:
General tasks:
Coordinates the company infrastructure maintenance and repair activities, as well as the current maintenance and repair works of the company’s equipment, in order to provide the optimal operation of the technological and power systems and equipment. Responsible for company’s vessel fleet, supply of temporary systems and equipment on board of vessels under construction and proper operation of the power system.
Specific tasks:
-Responsible for drawing-up the yearly/long-term company’s Maintenance Plan;
-Responsible for execution / implementation of the Maintenance Plan approved by yearly company’s Policy Plan;
-Responsible for limiting the costs within the budgets and costs allocated to Production Program;
-Responsible for execution of assigned works at the established deadlines;
-Responsible for implementation of the actions to be taken in order to avoid the bottlenecks and interruptions, and to reduce the idle times;
-Responsible for continuous maintaining and improvement of maintenance process performance;
-Responsible for optimal utilization of material, financial, patrimonial and human resources allocated to achieve the Department objectives;
-Implement actions to remedy the deficiencies noted by all entities authorized to check him, such as company’s management, quality surveyors, HSE inspectors;
-Contributes to improvement of maintenance process, under direct coordination of Technical Director;
-Monitors the implementation of technological improvements achieved by the Investment Plan under progress;
-Active part in drawing-up the Investment Plan by making specific proposals for disinvestment / replacement of the equipment and tools;
-Performs Port Facility Security Management System-related activities by complying with the instructions and orders in this respect;
-Develop KPI related to maintenance activity.
Technical University degree;
-Knowledge of quality management system
-Certified training in maintenance activities;
-Excellent skills in English;
-Good computer skills (MS office, ERP basic knowledge);
-Minimum 3 years management experience in a similar production company.
Required knowledge and/or experience with:
-Organization, the product range, the company processes;
-Drawing up reports, procedures and regulations;
-Principles of organizing and managing;
-Rules for quality, ergonomics, environment;
-Working techniques being in use;
-Planning techniques;
-Tools, equipment, software, to perform activities in an efficient way;
-Working in international business environment;
-Good verbal and written clarity of expression to negotiate, considerate, instruct.
